.... In the work of C. Laprell we discover the unreservedness as a characteristic of the painterly unity of art and life.
.... Such unreservedness shows a process that we have claimed to be characteristic of the transformation of aesthetic experience of reality. In invented pictorial spaces, the artist stratifies paintings of representational and abstract figures, whose continuous superimposition firmly paints the continuity of a continuum of experience.
.... The content of this continuum of experience is painting itself, but not to ask questions about artistic means or even to reflect them, but to shed light on the processuality of the painting act.
The overpaintings demonstrate the development of "vocabulary", the revocation and reformulation of discoveries in the course of the artist's work, and thus the construction of an ideolect that speaks of the freshness and savagery of the image beyond the idea...
